Dan Gilbert Joined the Appin in 1986 and is the keeper of the Appin library and The Appin Pappers (tm).
Mara Riley Author of "Whatever Shall I Wear", a guide to 18th c. women's clothing. Hobbies include spinning, dyeing, and other textile crafts. Former tall ship sailor. Member since 1998.
Gerry Orvis Veteran 18th century reenactor; former Marine, (gunnery sargeant and drill instructor), Gerry is an expert on 18th century Colonial and European military drill and tactics.

Terry Purke Founder of the group and pemanent Chief. Founding Members include Dick Griffiths, Mark Clark, Bill Lightel, Will Laird Jr., Al Saguto, and Francis Packard III & IV.
Geoff Descheemaeker Almost a founding member of the group & veteran reenactor of many periods who has been in the hobby for nearly 50 years. Member, Company of Military Historians.

Phil Cromwell Despite deep internal conflict resulting from his mixed Scottish and English ancestry, Philip has been a member of the Appins since 1991. A blacksmith, he also specializes in historical fencing and does demonstrations of the martial aspects of Scottish life. MA History, 2006 Edinburgh University.
